 Overview

Aly provides solutions for complex private matters in the areas of Wills & Estates and Family Law, and he is particularly adept when these two distinct practice areas intersect. Whether a client experiences a death in the family, a separation from a spouse, or requires guardianship advice, Aly ensures that his clients’ interests are protected in a pragmatic and efficient manner.

A designated Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP), Aly understands the importance of prudent succession planning. Clients rely on him in the preparation of domestic contracts and structuring of Estate plans that meet their family planning objectives. Aly crafts Marriage Contracts, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trusts with a view to ensuring that the instructions of his clients are met, and the loved ones they wish to benefit receive all that they are due.

An effective litigator, Aly is ready to argue contentious matters in Court when necessary. Although Aly often recommends Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a means to avoid formal Court processes, he recognizes that negotiated or mediated resolutions are not always possible. In his role as an advocate, Aly has acted on behalf of creditors, charities, Trust Companies and the Ontario Public Guardian and Trustee.

Aly solves client problems with tact, and builds lasting professional relationships. He is a trusted advisor.
