There was a sea of pink across the Blaneys Office as we celebrated Pink Shirt Day to take a stand against bullying. At Blaneys, it is important that our people enjoy working at the firm and with each other. We are committed to promoting equity and diversity, and fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and included. We proudly support Pink Shirt Day and we thank everyone at Blaneys for their participation.
Pink Shirt Day began in 2007 when a student in Nova Scotia was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. To support him, his fellow students took a stand and came to school the next day all wearing pink shirts. It has since been recognized annually as a day to stand against bullying.
