Roman takes the time to establish a close working relationship with each of his clients to develop a deep understanding of their business and their overall goals. This focus allows him to find practical solutions to their real estate matters quickly and efficiently. 

Roman’s general real estate practice involves acting in a broad range of commercial acquisitions, construction projects, subdivision and condominium developments, financing, conveyancing and leasing matters. His diverse clientele includes property developers, lenders, and large financial institutions as well as private individuals. Roman’s experience working in various construction and industrial settings prior to practicing law has given him a leading edge in understanding the industry, his clients’ business goals and their concerns.

  • Active in processing and facilitating commercial loans totaling over $250 million for a variety of lending clients (2014).

  • Facilitation of complex credit facilities for major lending client totaling $75 million involving eight properties within Ontario with sophisticated ownership structures including multiple pension funds.

  • Negotiation and implementation of land exchange with municipality to facilitate development and increase in marketability of vacant lands.

  • Drafting of assignment and loan agreement and documentation relating to a loan portfolio including multiple student residences and apartment buildings.

  • Assisted in a syndicated acquisition financing loan totaling $75 million relating to a hotel condominium development.

  • Assisted in the completion of condominium construction financing totaling over $110 million for a consortium of lending clients.
