Christian practices exclusively in the area of family law. He brings experience in numerous areas of family law including, child and spousal support, parenting disputes, property ownership, as well as drafting and negotiating marriage contracts and separation agreements. Christian’s approach is solutions-based and empathetic. He understands that each family is unique, and he works to ensure his clients’ specific needs are met. His clients benefit from the additional perspective he gained in prior experiences in private practice working on corporate/commercial and tax matters.
Christian is passionate about access to justice. He strives to resolve disputes outside of court, where possible. However, he is prepared to argue contentious matters in court when necessary. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and participated in mediation and arbitration processes.
In law school, Christian led the Family Law Chapter of Pro Bono Students Canada. He co-authored a guide to assist low-income families navigating the Quebec family courts and gave presentations on various family law topics to communities across Montreal. Christian has contributed to professional development programs, including the Osgoode and Ontario Bar Association Professional Development programs.
