 Overview

Christopher is a lawyer and a registered trademark agent.

Christopher is an experienced litigator, with a primary focus on intellectual property litigation, including proceedings under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations. In addition to this, he has litigated commercial and construction cases, as well as proceedings for the enforcement of foreign judgments and court orders. He has appeared as counsel before the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Ontario Superior Court (including the Commercial List) and the Trademarks Opposition Board.

In addition, Christopher is a trusted strategic advisor to his clients on matters relating to intellectual property and business development. He guides his clients in developing products, relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and other business partners, while protecting their interests in commercial transactions, including technology transfer, license and supply agreements.

Christopher’s clients include pharmaceutical companies (both innovator and generic) and manufacturers of consumer goods, including in the tool and hardware industries.

Christopher speaks Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese.

  • Christopher sits on the Board of Directors of the Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic, a community-based legal clinic funded by Legal Aid Ontario.  He is currently the Vice-Chair of the Board and is on the Executive and Policy & Governance Committees.
