 Overview

Lara has built a broad corporate and commercial litigation practice with an emphasis on contract and shareholder disputes, construction disputes, property/leasing, franchise disputes, and estate matters. As part of her franchise practice, she advises both franchisors and franchisees on business-related and litigation matters.

Lara is known for finding creative and practical solutions to complex matters. She places a high degree of importance on her relationships with clients and takes the time to learn and understand their needs. Clients rely on Lara for her ability to develop robust litigation strategies that are tailored to their specific requirements.

Lara is licensed to practice both Civil and Common Law, as a graduate of the National Program at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law. She is bilingual and able to service clients in both English and French.

Lara has appeared before a number of courts including the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal.
