Chris McKibbin will be presenting at the 2017 Fidelity Law Association Conference in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Conference is a full-day event focused on contemporary fidelity insurance issues, including social engineering fraud claims, knowledge of prior dishonesty, rescission, forensic investigations and communications with claimants and witnesses. The curriculum is designed for fidelity claims professionals, underwriters and lawyers.
Chris will moderate the afternoon panel The Future Ain’t What It Used To Be: Challenges Facing Fidelity and Commercial Crime Insurers in the 2020s. This panel brings together experienced claims professionals, underwriters and claims counsel to address developing fidelity risks and exposures that will affect the industry in the years to come. Topics include social engineering fraud, ransomware, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, “Ban the Box” regulations (including New York Insurance Regulation 209) and others.
