Matthew G. Tapia is a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group and his practice is focused on commercial transactions and real estate matters. His general real estate practice includes the purchase, sale and financing of commercial, industrial, multi-family residential, office and retail buildings and portfolios, commercial leasing, condominium and land development, land assemblies, and loan transactions. He acts for and advises purchasers and vendors, lenders and borrowers, landlords and tenants, and developers and investors.
Neena (Parminder) Sandhu is a member of the firm’s Immigration practice. Neena has extensive experience in corporate immigration, and is dual qualified, in Canada and England and Wales. Neena provides strategic counsel and customized solutions to a variety of corporate clients in relation to their inbound immigration needs, including CUSMA professional matters, intra-company transfers, LMIAs, reciprocal employment benefits work permits, significant benefits to Canada work permits, temporary resident visas, rehabilitation applications, compliance reviews, citizenship applications, permanent residence applications and inadmissibility issues.
Anna Iourina is a member of the firm’s Insurance Litigation practice. Anna has a broad litigation practice with a focus on property and commercial liability, product liability, contractual disputes, class actions, bodily injury defence, occupiers’ liability and professional negligence. Anna is one of the firm’s contacts for the Risk Management Counsel of Canada, a national association of independent law firms who work together to handle multi-jurisdictional insurance disputes.
Vagmi Patel is a member of the firm’s Insurance Litigation practice. She advises clients in areas of property, casualty, and commercial litigation, with a focus on product liability, environmental and construction claims, mortgage fraud claims, and defending claims of sexual assault. Vagmi focuses on providing practical, business-oriented, and cost-effective legal solutions to her clients. She has represented clients at various courts and tribunals. She chairs the Casualty Subgroup for Insurance Law Global (ILG) network and she sits on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Law Association of Ontario (WLAO).
